Why get your car serviced?

You should have your vehicle serviced on a regular basis, although there are no legal requirements for you to do so.

Safety

Servicing your vehicle regularly will help to highlight potential problems before they become real, dangerous, ones. A service is a much 'deeper' process than an MOT. We get right to the heart of your vehicle to ensure yours and your passengers safety.

Lower running costs

When everything is running smoothly and as it should be, your vehicle is at its most efficient, just as the manufacturer intended. When things get all clogged up your vehicle has to work harder using more fuel and putting strain on its components. Regular servicing will keep it all running as it should.

Longevity

Quite simply, if you look after it, it will last longer! Maintaining your vehicle correctly will reduce the chances of component failure and breakdowns, something that nobody wants! 

Vehicle value

A well maintained car will hold its value when it comes to resale or part exchange. Nobody wants to part with their hard earned money for something that has not been well looked after. Service history makes for an easier sale!

Interim Service

Dependent on engine size & oil type

Every 6000 miles or 6 months


Check all instruments, gauges, horn and interior lights

Reset service light & check trouble codes

Check operation of all driving controls and switches

Check condition of bodywork and chassis

Check steering, suspension linkages and ball joints for wear, damage and condition

Check condition of tyres, tread depth and pressures

Check and top up coolant level and screenwash

Test brake fluid boiling point

Check brake pipes and hoses

Visually inspect front bakes

Inspect brake pipes and hoses

Replace engine oil and filter

Stamp service book

Full Service

From Â£135 +VAT

Dependent on engine size & oil type

Every 12000 miles or 12 months


Everything from our interim service, plus the following:

Check and top up power steering fluid

Check and adjust auxiliary drive belt 

Check radiator and coolant hoses

Full brake inspection

Check exhaust system and mountings

Replace air filter

Replace fuel filter (Diesel only)

Spark plugs are replaced as per the recommended interval and are not included in our service packages. Please contact us for further information.
